Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Virgil Mays (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ratrick Obeh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mays comes to the cage accompanied by Wretches & Kings. Obeh has chosen Quake Arena as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obeh looks to land a combination but Mays avoids it well.
Obeh slips under a jab.
Good shot there by Mays.
Obeh misses with a series of wild punches.
Mays shoots in for a takedown but Obeh shows good takedown defense.
Mays scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Obeh tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mays swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mays swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mays throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Obeh throws a body kick the misses
and Mays counters with a stiff right hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mays. Obeh does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Obeh! Mays is out on his feet! Obeh rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Mays is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Mays is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
