Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alex Scene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Bollard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alex Scene has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bollard takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Scene throws a left and a right that both miss
and Bollard counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Scene throws a series of strikes that have Bollard backpedaling.

Scene stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Scene wants it to stay on the feet.
Scene shoots for a double leg takedown but Bollard sprawls well. He's pushed Scene's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bollard takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Scene got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bollard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Scene has managed to get both his arms back between Bollard's legs - danger averted.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Scene moves in looking to clinch but Bollard pushes him off.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Scene lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Scene shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bollard sprawls well. Bollard wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Scene gets slowly back to his feet.

Scene lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Scene tries to close the distance and clinch but Bollard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Bollard is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Scene not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

We're going to have a standup here because Alex Scene wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Bollard tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Scene has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bollard is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Scene has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Scene might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
