The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimesly tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Green counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Green closes the distance and clinches.

Green has clasped his hands together around Grimesly's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Green tries to move to mount but Grimesly blocks the move with his legs.
Green wants to control for a moment but Grimesly uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Grimesly avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Green.

Green is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Grimesly manages to get to full guard.
Green trying to control but Grimesly is working from the bottom.
Grimesly is trying to control the position but Green postures up.
Grimesly lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Green!
Grimesly won't let Green get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Grimesly looking to control but Green is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Green's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Grimesly can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Green is looking to escape.
Green really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grimesly. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Green is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Grimesly locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Green is forced to tap!
