Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nicholas Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustavo Mendes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castle comes to the cage accompanied by Why can`t we be friend - Smash Mouth. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mendes swivels and escapes.
Castle fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mendes gets a takedown into half guard.

Mendes drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mendes jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Castle throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Mendes.

Mendes has an Americana. Castle didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Mendes is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Mendes hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
