The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frye dodges the punch combination from Fists.
Frye closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Frye swings away with a body shot that misses
letting Fists counter with a right hand.
Fists throws a jab but it's blocked by Frye.
Fists thows a body shot but no joy.
Frye goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fists uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Frye.
Kaylee Frye seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Frye shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Frye was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Frye sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
