Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fyodor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Fedorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivan Fedorov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fedorov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fedorov showed some decent athleticism there.
Fedorov looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Emelianenko tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Emelianenko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fedorov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Emelianenko's head.
Emelianenko moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fedorov won't allow Emelianenko to sweep him here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Emelianenko is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Emelianenko passes Fedorov's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Emelianenko frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Emelianenko lands a big shot there that rocks Fedorov but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Fedorov is desperately trying to improve his position but Emelianenko has a good base and remains in mount.

Emelianenko goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Fedorov turns into him and now he's in Emelianenko's guard.

Ivan Fedorov's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ivan Fedorov's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
