Poo tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Mercier cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A head kick misses from Poo.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Poo enables Mercier to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Poo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Mercier is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Poo is trying to escape and Mercier transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Poo is forced to tap! Nice work there by Mercier! Very nice indeed!
