Acosta comes to the cage accompanied by Child of Burning Time by Slipknot. Kevin Acosta could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Steve Sherdog's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sherdog just misses with a punch to the body.
Some bone on bone action there as Acosta checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Sherdog fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Acosta manages to avoid it.
Acosta misses with a wild combination.
A nice leg kick lands there from Acosta.
Sherdog tries to close the distance and clinch but Acosta swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Sherdog postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Acosta is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sherdog, into his guard.

Acosta had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sherdog is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Acosta Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sherdog's back instead.
Acosta doesn't have the hooks in and Sherdog manages to turn into his guard.

Acosta throws a lazy right hand but Sherdog sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Kevin Acosta is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Acosta counters with a head kick. That will keep Sherdog thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
