Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keith Light (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Gamaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Keith Light!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Gamaz!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Light shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Light showed some decent athleticism there.
Light is pressing down on Gamaz's thigh, looking to free his foot. Gamaz is holding on for now.
Gamaz moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Gamaz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Gamaz scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Light takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Light.
Light fails with a takedown attempt.
Light has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Gamaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gamaz thumps Light with a low kick.
A cross from Gamaz lands.
Gamaz leaves Light with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keith Light. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Light fails with a takedown attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gamaz feints a jab promting Light to slip. Gamaz then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Light slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Gamaz connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Light's hands.
Light finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the ropes, ducking and weaving under Gamaz's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Light falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ivan Gamaz!
