Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pierre Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Tonq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tonq lands with a nice body punch.
Smith takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Tonq lands with a nice combination. Smith backs away looking to recover.
Tonq scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Smith is rocked!
Smith shoots for a double leg takedown but Tonq sprawls well. He's pushed Smith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tonq tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smith was well out of range. Poor timing from Tonq.
Smith shoots in looking for a takedown. Tonq tries to sprawl out of it but Smith keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tonq manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tonq swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Smith gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Smith is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Tonq gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Smith jumps into guard, dragging Tonq to the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Smith is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tonq is aware though and is defending well.
Smith is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Smith wants to sweep but no luck.

Smith seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Smith is looking for a triangle but Tonq pushes his legs off easily.
Smith is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Tonq got a little sloppy there for a moment and Smith has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tonq has managed to get both his arms back between Smith's legs - danger averted.
Tonq must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Smith lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Tonq!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Smith is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Tonq has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Smith sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Pierre Smith will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Tonq paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Tonq lands with a straight right. Smith didn't see that one coming.
Smith walks into a jab.
Tonq slaps away a takedown attempt from Smith, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Tonq thows a body shot but no joy.
Pierre Smith is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Tonq scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Smith takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Smith gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Tonq gets underhooks to prevent Smith's takedown attempt.
Smith is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Tonq pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Smith has hold of one of Tonq's legs. Tonq is fighting the takedown attempt but Smith gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tonq is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Pierre Smith just wasn't active enough.

Smith closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Tonq wants to get back to his feet.
Tonq prevents Smith from improving position.
Smith staying calm.

Smith prevents Tonq from escaping the position.
Smith happy to just control the position for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Pierre Smith will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Smith walks into a left hand.
Smith looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Tonq stuffs the takedown.
Tonq catches Smith with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Tonq gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Smith to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Tonq wants to stand but Smith is controlling the position.
Smith not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Smith has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Pierre Smith just wasn't active enough.
Tonq stuffs the takedown attempt from Smith. Smith gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but Tonq shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tonq comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Tonq leaves Smith with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Smith.
Tonq fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Smith on the side of the head.
A left and a right from Tonq both land. Nice combination.
Danga de danga de dang - Tonq scores with a four punch combination!
Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tonq scores with a crisp jab that stopped Smith in his tracks.
Tonq lands a jab to the head.

Tonq rushes Smith with punches - Smith moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Smith goes down! Tonq follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
