Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adonis Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wrath Ofthegods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ofthegods is trying to escape the position but Silva is controlling the position.
You can see the frustration on Ofthegods's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Ofthegods tries to improve position but can't.

Silva darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Ofthegods is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silva's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silva's back!

Ofthegods is trying to stick to Silva's back but Silva is turning into Ofthegods. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Ofthegods's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Silva.

Ofthegods is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ofthegods is working for a kimura but Silva is defending it quite comfortably.
Silva is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ofthegods is looking for a kimura but Silva is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ofthegods to get the leverage.
Silva is pressing down on Ofthegods's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Ofthegods is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Silva is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Silva has escaped and now he's on top!

That was a close round but I would say that Adonis Silva will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Silva lands with a nice combination. Ofthegods backs away looking to recover.
Adonis Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Ofthegods looking to throw knees to the head but Silva is blocking nicely.

Ofthegods jumps guard but Silva stands there with Ofthegods around his waist. Ofthegods gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Adonis Silva overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Ofthegods is looking to stand up but Silva isn't so interested in that idea.

Ofthegods has his feet on Silva's thighs here. He's pushed Silva off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Silva screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
