Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luke Paulister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Irons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Irons has chosen Get On Your Knees - Age Against the Machine as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Paulister!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Irons!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paulister shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Paulister connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Paulister throwing strikes here but Irons is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Paulister is landing with some decent strikes but Irons is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Irons sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Paulister is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Irons is just riding it out for now. Paulister eventually gives up the hold.

Paulister cracks Irons with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Paulister postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Irons looks a forlorn figure.


It looks like Frank Irons has been cut.
Paulister unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Irons wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Paulister celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
