The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faure doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Gracie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Faure stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gracie.
Faure misses with a takedown attempt
and Gracie makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Faure really felt that one!
Faure takes a kick to the side of the head.
Gracie catches Faure with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Gracie dips to his left and cracks Faure with an uppercut!

Faure is rocked!
Travis Faure seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Faure doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Oh Faure is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Faure is breathing heavily.
Gracie cracks the inside of Faure's front leg.
Faure tries to get into range but Gracie steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Faure! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Gracie scores the big KO victory!
