The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Leary will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
O Leary misses with a left hand
and Bundy counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The fighters circling - Bundy throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

It looks like Ted Bundy has been cut.

O Leary stops Bundy from standing up.
O Leary is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bundy is looking to stand back up but O Leary counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Bundy.

Bundy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with O Leary. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
O Leary takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of William O Leary.
Bundy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Bundy looks gassed!
O Leary jabbing away but nothing is landing.
O Leary scores with a sloppy right hand. Bundy should have avoided that one.
O Leary cracks Bundy with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Bundy takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

O Leary closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
O Leary works his foot free and advances to mount.
