Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mickey Rourke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeff Austin!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rourke fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Austin, pushing him back against the cage.

Austin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Austin throws a head kick but Rourke moves out of range.

Rourke scores a takedown into full mount!
Austin is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Rourke looking to ground and pound but Austin is blocking nicely.
Austin is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Rourke is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Austin is in a horrible position here. Rourke smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Rourke cracks Austin with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Austin tries to buck Rourke off but he can't manage it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rourke is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Austin is surviving well by controlling Rourke's body position as best he can.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rourke is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Austin can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Rourke lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Austin down.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
