Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Janek Kos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Magamedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Igor Magamedov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Magamedov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kos swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Magamedov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kos was covering up waiting for the punch and Magamedov finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Kos pushes Magamedov away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Magamedov gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kos enables Magamedov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kos manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
