Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacek Szpaczynski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Thompson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "Action!" by Street Drum Corps. Tyler Thompson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Szpaczynski shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Thompson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Szpaczynski drops back, looking for a kneebar! Thompson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Thompson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Thompson!

Szpaczynski trying his best to control but Thompson has mounted him.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Szpaczynski tries to hold on but Thompson pushes him away.
Szpaczynski is trying desperately to improve position.
Szpaczynski has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Thompson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Szpaczynski is wriggling around trying to escape.

Thompson content just to control the position here.
Thompson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tyler Thompson will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Thompson lands with an uppercut that bounces Szpaczynski off the cage and back into rage.
Szpaczynski takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A left and a right from Thompson both land. Nice combination.
Donk. Thompson catches Szpaczynski right on the button with a cross.

and Thompson counters with a three punch combo that has Szpaczynski backing up. Szpaczynski nods at Thompson to acknowledge the strikes.
Szpaczynski misses with a takedown attempt - Thompson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thompson throws a sloppy head kick and Szpaczynski moves out of range easily.
Tyler Thompson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Thompson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Szpaczynski is rocked!
Thompson connects with a superb combination that knocks Szpaczynski out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Thompson before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Szpaczynski!
