Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Dempsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Rambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dempsey comes into the arena with On the Eve of War - Jedi Mind Tricks blaring out of the sound system. John Rambo has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jack Dempsey's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dempsey misses with a lunging right hand
and Rambo counters with a straight right hand.
Dempsey is looking to clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Dempsey tries to clinch but Rambo is having none of it.

A looping hook to the body misses from Rambo. Dempsey does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Dempsey counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dempsey.

Dempsey swings wildly with an uppercut but Rambo uses good head movement to avoid it.

Rambo manages to break the clinch.
Rambo lands a body shot.
Dempsey tries to clinch up but Rambo circles away and keeps his distance.
Rambo shoots for a double leg takedown but Dempsey sprawls well. He's pushed Rambo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Dempsey drives through and clinches with Rambo against the cage.
Dempsey tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Dempsey fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Dempsey tries a body shot but Rambo blocks it.

Rambo tries for a takedown. No joy.
Rambo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dempsey walks away with a smile on his face. Rambo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Jack Dempsey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Rambo.
Rambo shoots for a takedown but Dempsey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Dempsey throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Rambo thows a body shot but no joy.
Dempsey moves to clinch but Rambo breaks away
and Rambo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Dempsey wants to clinch.
Decent striking displayed by Rambo there.
Rambo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dempsey sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rambo somewhat.
Dempsey wants to clinch up but Rambo keeps it at a distance.

Dempsey drives through and clinches with Rambo against the cage.
Rambo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Rambo blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Rambo breaks the clinch.

Dempsey stuffs the takedown attempt from Rambo. Rambo gets slowly back to his feet.

Dempsey rushes Rambo and presses him up against the cage.

Rambo tries to pull guard but Dempsey holds him up against the cage and eventually Rambo drops back down to his feet.

Dempsey has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Rambo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Dempsey is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Rambo pulls down on the head and he's put Dempsey to sleep! This one is all over!
