Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brian Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Nowka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nowka has chosen I Get Knocked Down as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brian Carver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matt Nowka!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carver fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nowka manages to avoid it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Carver slips a jab and a cross from Nowka.
Nowka takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Carver throws a left and a right that both miss
and Nowka counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Brian Carver has been cut.
Nowka misses with the combination.
Carver is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nowka.
Nowka misses with a two punch combination.
Nowka drops his hands momentarily and Carver takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Carver loads up on a big right hand but Nowka slips the punch.
Nowka swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Carver cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nowka misses with a double jab.
Carver dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Carver throws a series of punches but Nowka moves out of range.
Carver cracks Nowka with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Carver throws a jab but it's blocked by Nowka.
Carver lands with a hook. Nowka tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Nowka throws a series of punches but Carver avoids them all with ease.
Nowka digs a good body shot into Carver's ribs.
Nowka throws a left and a right that both miss
and Carver counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Carver keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nowka has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Carver finds it's way round the side to connect with Nowka's head.
Carver throws a hook but Nowka blocks it.
Carver thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nowka tries to bum rush Carver with a series of wild strikes but Carver uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Carver pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Nowka back to the cage. Carver follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Nowka falls off balance throwing a combination
and Carver counters with a nice body shot.
Nowka looks gassed!
Nowka walks into a stiff left hand from Carver.
Nowka takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Carver is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Nowka moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nowka takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Carver connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Nowka is rocked!
Carver jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Nowka is still on wobbly legs! Can Carver finish him?
Carver cracks Nowka with a hook to the temple - Nowka is on wobbly legs here! Carver swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Nowka falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Carver wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Brian Carver!
