Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dickie Thon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jack Johnson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jack Johnson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Johnson tries to clinch there but Thon circles away.

Johnson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Johnson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Thon.
Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Johnson counters with a flying knee that sends his opponent to the canvas! Johnson looking to finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thon wants to stand up but Johnson is controlling him.

and Thon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Johnson throws a sloppy head kick and Thon moves out of range easily.
Johnson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Thon is pawing at Johnson, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Johnson's nose. Johnson is badly hurt! Thon pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Johnson tries desperately to hold on but Thon is relentless in his assault! As Johnson receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Thon away and this one is in the books!
