The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ribeiro cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

White moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The crowd cheers as Ribeiro lands an impressive looking overhand right. White doesn't seem phased though.
