Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexey Mahayev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Filipovic comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Duran duran - Wild Boys kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filipovic throws a head kick that misses
letting Mahayev counter with a right hand.
Mahayev moves in looking to clinch but Filipovic pushes him off.
Filipovic tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Mahayev closes the distance and clinches.
Mahayev scores with a hook to the body.
Mahayev has Filipovic pressed against the ropes, preventing Filipovic from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Mahayev works on Filipovic's body with a couple of short punches.
Mahayev is trying to break the clinch but Filipovic is controlling him.

Filipovic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A jab lands there for Mahayev.
Mahayev throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Mahayev throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Filipovic on the side of the head.
Filipovic walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Mahayev is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

and Filipovic counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Mahayev is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Mahayev throws a lazy right hand but Filipovic sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Filipovic takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

and Mahayev counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Filipovic! He's just covering up as Mahayev starts to tee off till referee steps in and stops the fight!
