And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bouazizi tries for a takedown but Choii circles away easily
and Choii counters with a stiff right hand.

and Choii counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Choii shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bouazizi's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Bouazizi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Choii is sitting in close to Bouazizi's body. Bouazizi has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Choii is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Choii is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Bouazizi.
