And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Doros Dimisco!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Sergei Dronov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dimisco moves into the clinch.
Still in the clinch, Dimisco scores with a nice short uppercut.
Li tries for a takedown. No joy.
Dimisco lands with a light punch inside.
Dimisco with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Li has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dimisco avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Dimisco gets underhooks to prevent Li's takedown attempt.

Li tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dimisco just stands there and leans against the cage.

Li has Dimisco pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dimisco manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Li wants the takedown. Dimisco is fighting it off but Li persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dimisco's guard against the cage.
Li stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dimisco swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Li postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dimisco is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Li, into his guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Doros Dimisco dominated that round.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Li has picked Dimisco up - he's going for a ride! Li dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Li is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Li is trying to control. Dimisco wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Li looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Li is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Li prevents Dimisco from standing back up.
Dimisco really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Li. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Li is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dimisco defends it well.

Li seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Dimisco is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
