The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Germs stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Germs wants it to stay on the feet.

Montain drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Montain jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Germs is trying to control the position but Montain postures up.

Germs working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Montain doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Montain manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Montain lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Germs quite badly. Germs pulls Montain in close trying to recover. Montain postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Germs on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Germs doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
