The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lane on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Countryman. Countryman obviously looking to wear him down.
Countryman throws a sloppy head kick and Lane moves out of range easily.
Countryman throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Lane throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Countryman looks to land a body kick but Lane moved away.
Countryman misses with a kick to the body.
Lane checks a low kick from Countryman.

Countryman lands a big head kick that sends Lane tumbling to the mat! Countryman takes a step backwards and waves Lane back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Vil Lane has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Look low, kick high! Countryman uses the oldest trick in the book to send Lane tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Countryman is absolutely delighted - when Lane wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
