Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Samson Grabowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rogerio Santos!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Santos connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Grabowski is rocked!
Grabowski tries to buck Santos off but Santos takes his back!
Oh Grabowski is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Santos throwing wild punches that miss their target.
Grabowski seems to have got his legs back now.
Santos tightening his grip on Grabowski, looking for the choke.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Grabowski controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Grabowski turns into Santos and is now in his guard.
Santos looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Grabowski would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Santos looking for a guillotine here but Grabowski defends easily.
Grabowski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Santos on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Grabowski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Santos swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Santos throws his legs up looking for a submission but Grabowski uses it to pass to side control.
Santos tries to bench press Grabowski off him but Grabowski keeps the position.
Santos looks gassed!
Grabowski remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Grabowski decides to stand up, so the ref orders Santos to his feet.
Rogerio Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grabowski misses with the combination.
Grabowski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
No luck for Santos with that takedown attempt.
Santos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Grabowski tries to avoid it but Santos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Grabowski to the ground. Grabowski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grabowski closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Rogerio Santos has been cut.
Grabowski lands with a big right hook that stumbles Santos - he's out on his feet here! Grabowski follows up with another monster hook that separates Santos from consciousness! Santos falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Grabowski stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Samson Grabowski!
