Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ronaldo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam McCaughey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ronaldo Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Adam McCaughey!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCaughey plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Ronaldo Gracie has been cut.

McCaughey gets tackled into the cage by Gracie. Gracie maintains the clinch.
Gracie changes levels and goes for a takedown here. McCaughey fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Gracie closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gracie lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Gracie decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Gracie throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. McCaughey was covering up waiting for the punch and Gracie finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gracie gets to his feet. McCaughey looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from McCaughey.
McCaughey lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
McCaughey lands a head kick. Gracie smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Gracie fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Gracie moves into the clinch successfully.

Gracie wants the takedown. McCaughey is fighting it off but Gracie persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in McCaughey's guard against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Gracie stands up from guard. Let's bang!
McCaughey throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gracie takes a head kick and keeps coming.
McCaughey lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Gracie shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. McCaughey is trying to defend but Gracie finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Gracie passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for McCaughey!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gracie sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
McCaughey squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Gracie content just to control the position here.
Gracie's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Gracie seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down McCaughey for as long as he can get away with.
Gracie lands a big elbow.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ronaldo Gracie will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

McCaughey misses with a head kick.
McCaughey throws a nice looking combination but Gracie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from McCaughey, right into the meat.
McCaughey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Gracie gets a clinch.
Gracie keeps control of McCaughey as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Gracie jumps guard but McCaughey stands there with Gracie around his waist. Gracie gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Gracie turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Gracie in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... McCaughey is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
