The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamed closes the distance but Jacksonville moves to the side
and Jacksonville counters with a nice uppercut.
A low kick from Hamed misses
and Jacksonville connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jacksonville scores with a jab to the jaw.
Hamed cracks Jacksonville with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Hamed tries to clinch but Jacksonville is having none of it.
Felix Jacksonville seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jacksonville feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
