The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rosa.
Rosa tries to clinch there but Cruz circles away.
Cruz feints and as Rosa raises his hands in defense, Cruz changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rosa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rosa wants to sweep here but Cruz controlling him for the moment.
Rosa is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Rosa is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Rosa tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Cruz drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rosa dives on top into guard.
Cruz is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Rosa frees his head nicely. Oh but Cruz has switched to an armbar! Rosa is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
