PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robert Assman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Assman.

Assman has control of Rogan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Rogan regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Assman is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Rogan is in real trouble.

Assman lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Assman has Rogan flattened out and is raining down punches.

Assman is trying to stick to Rogan's back but Rogan is turning into Assman. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Assman's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Rogan.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Assman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Assman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Rogan loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Assman scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Rogan land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Rogan stands and salutes the crowd.
