Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lee Stroud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pesho Talpata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee Stroud could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Pesho Talpata's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pesho Talpata!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Joseph Jones and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stroud rushes Talpata and presses him up against the cage.

Stroud tries to clinch but Talpata is having none of it.
Stroud fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Talpata avoids it really well and circles away.

Talpata throws a series of punches but Stroud moves out of range.

Talpata lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Talpata.

Stroud misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stroud swings around for an armbar but Talpata sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Stroud's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Stroud has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

I would just about give that final round to Pesho Talpata.
