Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Glad Rosebush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Nack!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nack takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Rosebush swings widly with a right hand
and Nack counters with a stiff right hand.
Nack shoots for a takedown but Rosebush saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rosebush scores with a nice body kick.
Rosebush tries to close the distance and clinch but Nack swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nack blocks a jab.
Rosebush tries a low kick but Nack avoids it.
Rosebush pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Nack back to the cage. Rosebush follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Nick Nack has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rosebush throws a push kick but Nack slaps the foot to one side.
Nack shoots for a takedown but Rosebush saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rosebush misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rosebush throws a low kick but Nack moves out of range easily.
Rosebush wants to clinch up but Nack keeps it at a distance.
Rosebush fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rosebush closes the distance but Nack moves to the side
and Nack counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rosebush's guard now.
Nack throws a big right hand that misses.
Rosebush wants to stand but Nack is controlling the position.
Nack works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Rosebush is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Nack pulls his head out easily.

Nack throwing shots but Rosebush is blocking nicely.
Nack is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rosebush sees it coming and defends easily.
Rosebush is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Nack's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Nack's back!
Oooh a big shot gets through from Rosebush. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Nack is in bad spot here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nack prevents Rosebush from getting a body triangle.
Rosebush doesn't have the hooks in and Nack manages to turn into his guard.
Nack has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Rosebush working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nack doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nack manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Rosebush wants to sweep here but Nack controlling him for the moment.
Rosebush has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nack can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Nack stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rosebush swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nack wants to control from the top but Rosebush keeps moving.
Nack postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Rosebush manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Rosebush unloads with some shots from mount but Nack bucks and avoids them well.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nack lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rosebush backs up against the cage.

Rosebush motions for Nack to come forward. Rosebush throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Nack chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rosebush can pounce on him.
An inside leg kick lands from Rosebush.
Nack circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rosebush lands with a nice combination. Nack backs away looking to recover.

Rosebush lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Nack has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Rosebush.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rosebush is looking to clinch but Nack is avoiding it.
Rosebush moves into the clinch successfully.
Nack has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rosebush is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Nack breaks the clinch.
Rosebush throws a half hearted mid kick.
Nack moves out of range of the strikes.
Glad Rosebush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nack shoots in looking for a takedown but Rosebush manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nack's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nack is breathing heavily.
Rosebush chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Rosebush feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Nack's calf.
Rosebush tries to clinch up but Nack circles away and keeps his distance.

Rosebush fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Nack.
Nack keeps the fight on the outside.
Rosebush throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Nack blocks the body kick.

Nack shoots in looking for a takedown but Rosebush manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nack's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Glad Rosebush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Nack.

Nack has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rosebush throws a right hand that Nack ducks under and follows up with a left that Nack also avoids with ease.

Rosebush stuffs the takedown.
Rosebush moves into range and clinches up with Nack.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rosebush creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Rosebush breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nack fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rosebush, pushing him back against the cage.
Rosebush lands with a right to the head.
Nack prevents a body shot from Rosebush.

Rosebush presses Nack against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Nack tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rosebush swivels and escapes.

Rosebush feints and then cracks Nack's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nack down.

Nack has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Rosebush should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Nack has tightened it up now! Rosebush should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
