Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Dunne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bosse Grepp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dunne's entrance music is Two Steps from Hell - Heat of Courage. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Dunne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bosse Grepp!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grepp misses with a combination
and Dunne counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Dunne lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Dunne gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Grepp to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Grepp drops back looking for a leg! Dunne is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dunne manages to kick Grepp off! Grepp jumps back into Dunne's guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Grepp fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dunne manages to avoid it.

Dunne is desperately trying to improve his position but Grepp has a good base and remains in mount.
Dunne is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Grepp swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Dunne is now in Grepp's guard. A big mistake from Grepp there, giving up the dominant position!

Dunne stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Grepp swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dunne is looking for a kimura but Grepp is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dunne to get the leverage.
Grepp manages to get to full guard.
Dunne loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dunne tries to free his leg and advance position but Grepp is retaining full guard.
Grepp is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Dunne avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Dunne makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Dunne cracks Grepp with a solid left hand.

Grepp is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Grepp thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Bosse Grepp showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Grepp feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bosse Grepp comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Grepp has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
