Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Igor Noxchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kekush Vorscky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noxchi comes to the ring accompanied by coma- ocalenie. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Noxchi or perhaps it was just good defense by Vorscky which made him look bad.
Vorscky shoots and misses

and Noxchi counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Vorscky's guard now.
Noxchi trying to control but Vorscky is working from the bottom.
Vorscky looking to hit a scissor sweep but Noxchi is one step ahead there.
Noxchi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Vorscky wants to stand but Noxchi is controlling the position.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Noxchi stands up and waves to Vorscky to follow him.
Vorscky misses with a series of wild punches.

Vorscky stuffs the takedown attempt from Noxchi. Noxchi gets slowly back to his feet.

Noxchi shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Vorscky is trying to defend but Noxchi finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Noxchi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Vorscky is looking to control Noxchi's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Vorscky avoid being mounted?

Noxchi is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Noxchi wants to take a breather but Vorscky is having none of it.
Vorscky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Noxchi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vorscky is looking for a sweep. Noxchi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

We're going to have a standup here because Igor Noxchi wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Vorscky stuffs the takedown attempt from Noxchi. Noxchi gets slowly back to his feet.

Noxchi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Vorscky wants to control but Noxchi postures up.

Noxchi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Noxchi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vorscky keeps working.

Vorscky is trying to improve his position.
Vorscky is not content to let Noxchi control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Igor Noxchi wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Noxchi shoots in for a takedown but Vorscky shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Noxchi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Vorscky is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Noxchi remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Noxchi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Vorscky won't be happy with that.

Noxchi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Vorscky, who protects the arm well.
Vorscky is not content to let Noxchi control the position.

Noxchi stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The referee asks Noxchi politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Noxchi prefers to stall for the moment though.
Noxchi wants to control but Vorscky is keeping him busy.

Noxchi has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Vorscky is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Noxchi yanks on the arm and Vorscky is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Noxchi.
