The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy misses with a takedown
and Walujew connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Tom Hardy has been cut.
Nikolai Walujew seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Hardy has eaten all the pies!

Walujew decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hardy to his feet.
Walujew tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hardy paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Walujew clinches up against the cage.
Hardy tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Walujew smiles and moves away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Still in the clinch, Walujew scores with a nice short uppercut.
A body shot lands from Walujew.
Walujew works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Walujew breaks the clinch.
Walujew tries to clinch but Hardy moves out of range.

Walujew throws a left that rocks Hardy and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Walujew dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Hardy regain composure!

Walujew wants to stand but Hardy has his arm trapped.

Walujew lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
