The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Osbourne shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Osbourne showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cabbat moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Cabbat is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Osbourne is aware though and is defending well.
Cabbat wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Cabbat is trying to keep Osbourne in close.

Osbourne swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cabbat.

Cabbat has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Cabbat tries to keep at a distance but Osbourne has taken the fight into the clinch.
Osbourne pushes Cabbat back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Osbourne lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Osbourne escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Osbourne shoots in and bounces Cabbat off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Osbourne wants to control but Cabbat is keeping him busy.

Osbourne is trying to get an arm triangle but Cabbat is defending well.

Osbourne thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Cabbat really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Osbourne. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Osbourne is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Cabbat is trying to escape and Osbourne transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Cabbat is forced to tap! Nice work there by Osbourne! Very nice indeed!
