Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Stanley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Beatdown!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanley throws a combination that misses
and Beatdown cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Beatdown looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Stanley lands a nice hook to Beatdown's body. Beatdown takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Stanley swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Beatdown counters with a shoot takedown. Stanley fights it but they end up in guard.

Beatdown drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Beatdown jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Beatdown won't allow Stanley to sweep him here.

Stanley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Stanley had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Beatdown defends it easily.

Beatdown must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Stanley looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Beatdown has picked Stanley up and slammed him! Stanley can't keep hold of the triangle and Beatdown manages to pass to side control!

Beatdown decides to stand back up. Beatdown steps back and let's Stanley get back to his feet.
Stanley connects with a right hand. Beatdown shakes it off.
George Stanley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Beatdown fails in his attempt to clinch.

Beatdown moves into the clinch successfully.

Beatdown breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Stanley lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Stanley gets tackled into the cage by Beatdown. Beatdown maintains the clinch.

Beatdown pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Beatdown misses with a shot to the body
and Stanley counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Beatdown shoots in for a takedown but Stanley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Stanley goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Stanley circles away from the clinch attempt.

Beatdown will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Beatdown throws a nice looking combination but Stanley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Stanley scores with a jab. Beatdown acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Beatdown doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Stanley connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Beatdown is still on wobbly legs! Can Stanley finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stanley lands a nice hook to Beatdown's body. Beatdown takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Beatdown seems to have recovered his senses.
Stanley scores with a nice head shot.
Stanley lands a hook that stumbles Beatdown back into the cage. Stanley follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Beatdown to the canvas! Stanley pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Beatdown has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
