Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cain Ramis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Christian Scott!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Scott is defended easily by Ramis.
Scott tries for a takedown but Ramis circles away easily
and Ramis counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Scott fails with the takedown.
Cain Ramis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Christian Scott.
Ramis throws a body punch but Scott moves out of range.
Scott keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ramis.
Scott shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ramis defends it nicely.

Ramis stalks Scott and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Scott's face. Scott staggers backwards, shaken.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ramis lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Scott has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Scott and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Scott takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ramis closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Scott needs to keep his hands up - Ramis had a free shot at his head there.
Scott tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Scott takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ramis lunges at Scott with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Scott's hand.
Scott walks into a stiff left hand from Ramis.
Ramis catches Scott with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Scott has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ramis.
Scott is trying desperately to land a takedown but Ramis is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Scott.

Scott throws a front kick aimed at Ramis's knee but Ramis avoids it well.

Ramis gets caught flat footed, as Scott shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Ramis is pulling down on Scott's head to control his posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Scott accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ramis is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scott wants to stand but Ramis is controlling his posture from full guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Scott is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Christian Scott's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
