PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Barsanti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Tut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barsanti comes into the arena with Bawitdaba blaring out of the sound system. Tut comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rember the name kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Barsanti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Tut!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barsanti swings widly with a right hand
enabling Tut to counter with a crisp jab.
Barsanti has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Barsanti there as he acknowledges the shot.
Barsanti throws an off balance right hand
and Tut counters with a series of strikes. Barsanti will be more careful next time no doubt.
Barsanti misses with a wild body shot.
Tut fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Tut or perhaps it was just good defense by Barsanti which made him look bad.
Barsanti falls off balance throwing a combination
and Tut counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Tut counters with a shoot takedown. Barsanti fights it but they end up in guard.

Tut drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tut jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Tut thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Tut advances position into side control!
Barsanti on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Barsanti tries to get out of the position.

Tut has hold of Barsanti's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Barsanti tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Tut cranks the arm and Barsanti screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Barsanti, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). King Tut!
