Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Marciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shogun Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Marciano might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to REDEMPTION SONG. The crowd seem to be enjoying Silva's choice of entrance music: Kashmir. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Russell Pearce and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Marciano.
Marciano feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Silva's calf.
Marciano digs a good body shot into Silva's ribs.
Silva lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Don Marciano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Marciano lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Silva has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Silva and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Silva looks to land a body kick but Marciano moved away.

Silva lands with a hook. Marciano tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Silva pushes Marciano away with a front kick.
Silva is looking to land body kicks.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Marciano pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Silva misses with a straight left.
Nice straight punches there by Marciano. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Marciano.
The fight stays on the outside here - Marciano looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Marciano counters with a right hand to the body.

Marciano scores with a sloppy right hand. Silva should have avoided that one.

Marciano throws a predictable looking body shot
and Silva counters with a body kick that stops Marciano in his tracks momentarily.

and Silva counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Marciano thows a body shot but no joy.
A slow jab from Silva misses its intended target.
Marciano blocks the body kick.
Marciano connects with the punch.
Marciano misses with a low kick as Silva jumps back.
Marciano misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Silva.
Good leg kick by Silva there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Silva throws the kick towards the body but Marciano avoids it.
Silva throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Marciano counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Marciano thows a left - swing and a miss!
Marciano lands a nice looking body shot.
Silva closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Marciano ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Silva moves away.
Silva misses with a right hand
and Marciano counters with a straight right hand.
Silva misses the shot to the body.
Silva misses with a kick to the body
and Marciano makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Silva crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Marciano - the referee stops the clock and Silva gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Marciano. Silva manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Silva moves away from the strike by Marciano.
A low kick from Silva is predictable there
and Marciano counters with a good, hard body kick but Silva shrugs it off.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Marciano ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Marciano throws a poor cross that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Marciano lands a leg kick that knocks Silva off balance momentarily.
Silva looks gassed!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Silva throws a body punch but Marciano moves out of range.

and Marciano counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Don Marciano dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Marciano lands with a thumping leg kick.

Marciano throws a lazy uppercut
and Silva counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Marciano is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Silva takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Silva tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Silva takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Marciano misses with a body shot.
Silva slips a jab from Marciano.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Marciano throws out a powerful jab.
Marciano lands with a cross.

Marciano ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Marciano moves in close and cracks Silva with a massive right hand! Silva, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Marciano!
