Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tiago Lai!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lai looks to clinch
and Taheri counters with a stiff right hand.
Lai tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Taheri counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Taheri bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Lai manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Taheri is pressing down on Lai's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Lai wants to control from the top but Taheri keeps moving.
Lai really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Taheri. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Taheri has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Taheri wants to stand up but Lai is controlling him.

Taheri looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lai stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Taheri swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lai is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Taheri has latched onto it... Big trouble! Taheri pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Lai is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Taheri!
