The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Viktor Lagutenko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jhones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jhones fails to land with a series of punches.

Jhones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Klichko counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Alan Jhones has been cut.
Jhones bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Jhones throws a jab when Klichko was well out of range.
Klichko catches Jhones with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Jhones with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Klichko to score with a decent uppercut.

Klichko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jhones.
Jhones misses with a series of wild punches.
Klichko lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jhones shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Klichko defends it nicely.
Klichko scores with a hook to the body. Jhones takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Jhones has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Jhones is breathing heavily.
Oooooh!!! Klichko has knocked Jhones down with a huge combo! Klichko steps away and waves a wobbly Jhones back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Klichko lands a left and a right that send Jhones crashing to the mat, dazed. Klichko thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Klichko lands a big right hook! Jhones looks hurt but is still standing! Klichko lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Jhones falls down and Klichko dives in with a huge hammer fist! Jhones's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Klichko runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
