Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Doza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doza comes to the cage accompanied by que vida boa. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from King misses the target.
King misses the jab.
King throws an overhand right that lands on Doza's shoulder, as Doza tries to avoid the shot.
King swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
King throws a looping overhand right but Doza ducks down to avoid it.
King lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Doza circles away quickly and effectively.

Doza drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
King controlling the position.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - King has eaten all the pies!

Doza drops back, looking for a kneebar! King looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. King looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from King!
King lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Doza down.

Doza knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for King on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Doza has hold of King's hands but King slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
King uses his free foot to push down on Doza's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Doza.
King lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Josh King showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Doza enables King to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Doza manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Well King has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
