The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blake stuffs the takedown.

and Dejesus moves into the clinch.

Blake jumps guard but Dejesus stands there with Blake around his waist. Blake gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Blake tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Douglas Dejesus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Blake.

Dejesus decides to pull guard.

Blake drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Blake jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Blake has control of Dejesus's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dejesus regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Dejesus is looking to improve his position but Blake isn't that keen on the idea.

You get the feeling that Dejesus really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Blake fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Blake looking to secure an arm triangle but Dejesus defends it well.
Dejesus tries to lock up and control but Blake gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Blake wants to finish this one by submission but Dejesus is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Blake.
Dejesus is desperately trying to improve his position but Blake has a good base and remains in mount.

Blake has hold of Dejesus's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dejesus manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Blake is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Dejesus is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Dejesus flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Blake anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Dejesus and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Blake slips an arm under Dejesus chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Blake has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Blake is squeezing on Dejesus like an anaconda would it's prey. Dejesus fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
