Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladamir Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sylvester the EXPENDIBLE (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). the EXPENDIBLE has chosen Iron Maiden - Fear of the Dark as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear throws a looping overhand right but the EXPENDIBLE ducks down to avoid it.
the EXPENDIBLE lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bear backs up against the ropes.
the EXPENDIBLE tries to clinch but Bear is having none of it.
Bear throws a lazy uppercut
letting the EXPENDIBLE counter with a right hand.
Bear tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but the EXPENDIBLE swivels and escapes.
the EXPENDIBLE scores with a shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
No joy there for the EXPENDIBLE, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bear walks into a jab.
the EXPENDIBLE ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Bear is breathing heavily.
the EXPENDIBLE doesn't manage to clinch there - Bear circles away.
Sylvester the EXPENDIBLE seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
the EXPENDIBLE misses with a two punch combination.
the EXPENDIBLE takes a swing at Bear's ribcage but misses.
the EXPENDIBLE throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bear.

the EXPENDIBLE clinches up against the ropes.
Bear tries to pull guard but the EXPENDIBLE holds him up against the ropes and eventually Bear drops back down to his feet.
the EXPENDIBLE is pushing Bear up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
the EXPENDIBLE tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
the EXPENDIBLE connects with a right that clearly hurt Bear. He's backed up against the ropes with nowhere to go as the EXPENDIBLE proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Bear collapses and taps out under the pressure!
