Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eino Nappi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pehr Erik Liljestrand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nappi comes to the cage accompanied by O Fortuna. Pehr Erik Liljestrand will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liljestrand does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Liljestrand thows a leg kick but Nappi checks it
and Nappi counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Liljestrand blocks a head kick by Nappi.
Nappi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Liljestrand sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Nappi pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Liljestrand throws a leg kick but Nappi checks it.
Liljestrand avoids a kick to the body.
Nappi has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Liljestrand.

Nappi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Liljestrand's guard.

Nappi drops back looking for a leg! Liljestrand is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Liljestrand manages to kick Nappi off! Nappi jumps back into Liljestrand's guard.

Nappi gets to his feet. Liljestrand looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Liljestrand misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Liljestrand tries to score with a low kick but Nappi moves his leg out of the way.
Liljestrand fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Liljestrand will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Nappi checks the leg kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Nappi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Nappi.
Pehr Erik Liljestrand seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nappi scores with a nice body kick.
Nappi misses with a double jab.
Nappi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Nappi drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nappi slips nicely into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nappi stops Liljestrand from getting back to his feet.

Nappi can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Liljestrand is looking to escape.

Liljestrand is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
