The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borneo scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Borneo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Borneo throws a quick inside leg kick.
Gibbons misses with a takedown attempt
and Borneo counters with a nice body shot.
Borneo lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Gibbons fails with the takedown
and Borneo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gibbons closes the distance but Borneo moves to the side
and Borneo counters with a one-two to the body.

Borneo works over Gibbons's head and body with a nice combination.

and Borneo counters with an outside leg kick.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Borneo stalks Gibbons and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gibbons's face. Gibbons staggers backwards, shaken.
Borneo connects with a single shot there.
A head kick from Borneo lands but Gibbons takes it in his stride.
Borneo lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

and Borneo counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Gibbons is breathing heavily.
Borneo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Gibbons takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Borneo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Borneo throws a combination. Gibbons tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Borneo lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Oh Gibbons is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A jab from Borneo does it's job there.
Joey Borneo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nice uppercut lands for Borneo. That snapped Gibbons's head back.
Borneo drops Gibbons with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Gibbons! Borneo dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
