The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juarez looks to score with a jab to the body but Gericho is just out of range.
Gericho lands with a right hand.
Juarez changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Gericho throws an off balance right hand
and Juarez counters with a stiff right hand.
Juarez looks to land a left hand but Gericho moved out of range nicely.
Juarez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gericho moves away.
Gericho looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Gericho misses with a body punch
and Juarez counters with a stiff right hand.
Gericho throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gericho throws a lazy uppercut

and Juarez counters by moving into the clinch.
Juarez throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Gerichos head.

Gericho really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Juarez dips a shoulder and cracks Gericho with a mighty uppercut! Gericho falls back against the cage and Juarez unloads with a barrage of strikes! Gericho is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Juarez screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
