Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kelly Axel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luiz Gonzaga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Axel comes to the cage accompanied by We can Win. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Axel with a lazy takedown attempt

Axel doesn't manage to clinch there - Gonzaga circles away.

Gonzaga gets to his feet. Axel looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Gonzaga decides to stand up, so the ref orders Axel to his feet.

Gonzaga shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gonzaga drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Axel manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gonzaga has Axel in his guard.

Axel drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Axel jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Axel has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Axel is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gonzaga has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Axel is looking to defend but Gonzaga has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Axel! Gonzaga pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Axel taps out and this one is all over!
